About Frog Bridge

HISTORY

In 1982, Diane founded Green Mountain Gymnastics on the “road to Stowe” in Waterbury Center, VT. After developing many team, individual, and state champions, it became a non-profit training center in 1989 and Diane pursued her profession in forensic adolescent treatment while advancing as a gymnastics judge, clinician, and meet director. In 1992, Diane was invited to co-develop a gymnastics program in St. Johnsbury, VT. This gym, Evergreen Gymnastics, later moved over the border to Lisbon, NH where it was owned and operated by her daughter Becky Hirsch Cleary and Vladimir Akhlatkin, former Russian gymnast and competitive coach and trainer of circus performers (daughter is a featured performer in “Cirque’s “O” show in Las Vegas).Together they coached the 4 year undefeated Vermont High School State Championship Team from St. Johnsbury Academy and they grew many successful gymnasts.

FROG BRIDGE GYMNASTICS

In 2006 Becky and Vladimir become active participants in developing Frog Bridge Gymnastics now located in Columbia and formerly in downtown Willimantic. Vladimir has recently returned to his Northern home where he has started Kingdom Gymnastics while Becky and Diane have relocated Frog Bridge to an exciting new location in South Windham. Our new home brings all of the great things about Frog Bridge’s program to a better location and better facility. We have a great program we invite you to become a part of. Our new facility has an Olympic sized spring-floor exercise mat and all of the Olympic apparatus needed to perform womans competitive gymnastics and boys and girls recreational gymnastics. We pride ourselves on our great programs and hope we can share with you our knowledge and passion for the greatest sport ever!
